SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Peripheral retinotomy is followed by inducing a retinal detachment by subretinal introduction of a balanced solution in external quadrants through puncture retinopuncture with a cannula with a syringe connected to an irrigation system. That is followed by replacing the fluid in the vitreous chamber, removing the pathological subretinal content in the macular region. Flap of retinal pigment epithelium and choroid is cut out on periphery of retina, under cut out pigment epithelium flap before its mobilization is introduced viscoelastic. Then the flap is moved under the macular retina into the defect of the retinal pigment epithelium.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce time of operative intervention and simultaneously to reduce risk of injures of tissues during manipulations.
