FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for external arterial bleeding control in injured extremities. Device comprises elastic tourniquet made with possibility of attachment with one end through fasteners to outer part of clothes uniform, along lower border of upper one-third of shoulder, and with possibility of placement in pocket having clasp of textile ribbons. Pocket is designed so that to enable attachment to the clothes uniform with the help of a clasp of textile ribbons, and the elastic tourniquet has a pull-out semi-ring designed so that to enable pulling by hand and generation of pulling force pulling the elastic tourniquet out of the pocket. Elastic tourniquet is designed so that to enable placement under a textile overlay sewn into the garment uniform. Elastic tourniquet is configured to pass through the metal buckle attached to the upper part of the uniform directly near the pocket and to come out of it, and to generate compression in a stretched position on the wounded limb through the uniform, and to clamp the injured limb. Elastic tourniquet is arranged with the possibility of fixation to the clothes shape by means of available fasteners from textile tapes. In the middle of the elastic tourniquet there is a longitudinal corrugated path in the form of triangular projections having an inclined side on the side of the free end of the elastic tourniquet, and on the other side – the straight side perpendicular to the surface of the elastic tourniquet, and the metal buckle is made in the form of a flat base attached together with one end of the elastic tourniquet to the shape of clothes and having on one side a slot for passage of the free end of the elastic tourniquet. Base is made integral with the stepped side walls, to which at the outlet of the free end of the elastic tourniquet of a metal buckle two guide rollers are installed for pressing the elastic tourniquet on both edges from the corrugated path to the base of the metal buckle, and in the middle of the side walls the axis of the swinging rocker arm is installed, one arm of which is made in the form of a triangular pawl, installed by the vertex of the angle into the depressions between the triangular projections of the corrugated path in such a way that the straight side of the triangular profile of the pawl adjoins the straight side of the triangular protrusion of the corrugated path, and the pawl triangular profile inclined side adjoins the grooved track triangular protrusion inclined side, and the rocker arm second arm is made in the form of a button. Above the lower steps of the stepped side walls there is a mechanical timer, on the housing of which there is a winding head of the spring of the mechanical timer and a locking button for resetting the time readings. End of the elastic tourniquet attached through the attachments to the outer part of the clothes uniform has a projection of variable height, is configured to be installed, is installed between the flat base of the metal buckle and the guide plate, having slots for accommodating a projection of variable height therein, and in the metal buckle one stepped side wall lower step, in the mechanical timer installation area, a hole is made for the mechanical timer start button drive pusher passage, pressed by the spring through the ball to the variable height protrusion on the elastic tourniquet. Pawl is configured to be pressed to the troughs of the corrugated path by a torsion spring mounted on the rocker axis, one end of which is fixed to the axis, and the second end rests against the rocker arm made in the form of a button, and the variable-height projection is configured to stretch and move towards the pulling side of the elastic tourniquet to move the ball to the surface of the variable-height projection, having a greater height at the beginning of the compression time of the injured extremity, and with the possibility of compression and return to the initial position due to the elasticity of the elastic tourniquet to press the ball to the variable-height protrusion surface on the elastic tourniquet, having a minimum height when the time count stops.
EFFECT: providing the beginning of the automatic counting of the compression time of the injured extremity when its value is achieved, sufficient to stop the bleeding, as well as the simplicity, convenience and automation of recording the compression time, the beginning of the time of subsequent compression after loosening of the tourniquet and the summation of the time for its application, taking into account periods of weakening of the compression value due to the compression time automatic stopping when the elastic tourniquet is weakened and the count continues when it is re-tensioned.
