FIELD: optoelectronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronic engineering, particularly to observation and aiming devices. Disclosed optical unit consists of an optically coupled vertical guidance optical element and a television channel, which includes a lens and a matrix photodetector, as well as a control module, a gyroscopic sensor mounted on the housing of the optical unit and electrically connected to the control module. Optical element of vertical guidance is installed with possibility of rotation around vertical axis, orthogonal line of sight of television channel, by means of kinematic connection with electric drive of vertical guidance with locking mechanism and sensor of vertical guidance angle. Electric drive of vertical guidance with locking mechanism and sensor of vertical guidance angle are electrically connected to control module. AP-90° prism or flat mirror is used as an optical element of vertical guidance.

EFFECT: high accuracy of pointing the line of sight.
