FIELD: furnaces and plates.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of estimating the shape of charge deposition inside a blast furnace and a method of replacing coke inside a blast furnace. When initiating the blast furnace start-up using the blast furnace blowing with the charge filling level reduction, the charge deposit form inside the blast furnace is estimated, which is formed after the burner is inserted into the blast furnace through the taphole of the blast furnace and is used for consumption of coke inside the blast furnace. Method of estimating includes estimating the form of charge deposition inside the blast furnace during blowing of the blast furnace with a decrease in the stockline, estimating the loaded area of coke inside the blast furnace by the form of depositing the charge inside the blast furnace, assessed at the previous stage, and by the shape of the hardened layer on the lower part inside the blast furnace, an estimate of the amount of coke inside the blast furnace, which is consumed when using the burner, and estimating, from the amount of coke inside the blast furnace, the form of charge deposition inside the blast furnace formed after consumption of coke inside the blast furnace. When replacing coke inside the blast furnace, methods of estimating and loading coke into the blast furnace are carried out in order to reduce the change between the form of deposition of the charge inside the blast furnace at blowing of blast furnace with a decrease in the stockline and form of charge deposit inside blast furnace formed after coke consumption inside blast furnace.

EFFECT: stable start-up and stable operation of the blast furnace.
