FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic and organosilicon chemistry. Disclosed is a catalyst system for hydrosilylation of unsaturated compounds, consisting of decacarbonyl dimanganese Mn2(CO)10 and hexafluoroisopropanol HFIP, obtained by mixing Mn2(CO)10 and HFIP in air at atmospheric pressure and room temperature, wherein molar ratio of components of system Mn2(CO)10:HFIP ranges from 1:0.4 to 1:400, and a method for hydrosilylation of unsaturated compounds comprising the use of the disclosed catalyst system.
EFFECT: creating a catalyst system consisting of Mn2(CO)10 and HFIP, activity of which exceeds activity of analogues, and a hydrosilation method using said catalyst system, which enables to carry out hydrosilation of unsaturated compounds while illuminating with a standard LED lamp at room temperature.
