FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine, namely to surgery. Cryoapplicator, made in the form of a mushtable, after being placed in a vessel with liquid nitrogen with a temperature lowered to -198 °C, is introduced into the external auditory canal of the animal before contact with the affected skin area, working surface of the cryoapplicator is pressed to a growth, exposed for 50-75 seconds, and a tumour is simultaneously removed by means of a curettage tray. After the tumour removal, the bed is exposed again to cryoapplicator for 30 seconds with the scab falling off is controlled on 8-13th day.
EFFECT: method provides the local treatment of the neoplasms of the ceruminal glands of the auditory canal in cats and dogs that in turn enables reducing injuries, reducing the length of recovery and improving the patient’s quality of life.
