FIELD: hybrid vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: method for controlling the start/stop of a hybrid vehicle comprising an engine, a drive motor and a planetary gear set, includes providing an engine start/stop command; engine rotation speed measurement; determining the start/stop phase in which the engine is located; calculation of torque transmitted in longitudinal direction of planetary gear set. Besides, compensating torque to be output to drive motor is calculated proceeding from torque transmitted from the engine in lengthwise direction. Then, drive motor is controlled to output compensating torque and to transmit compensating torque to wheel hub for neutralization of torque transmitted by engine in lengthwise direction in compliance with starting phase.

EFFECT: solving the problem of longitudinal shaking of the vehicle during starting and stopping.
