FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of parts subjected to impact and abrasive wear by additive electric-arc growth. Part base is produced from steels of weldability with yield point of 300 MPa and higher. Working surface is grown on the basis of the part in places of wear using two types of welding wires: the first is wear-resistant wire and the second type is plastic wire. Due to power action of electric arc the first and the second welding wires are fused and metal composite working surface is created. Controlled drop transfer of fused metal to grown billet is performed by alternating fragments of sputtering of wires of the first and the second type so that alternating fragments of sputtering of wires of the first and the second type are formed.
EFFECT: increasing the wear resistance of the manufactured part.
