FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pharmaceutical composition for postoperative local treatment of cerebral cancer, which is a gel-like polysaccharide solution, wherein distributed are nanoparticles with diameter of 100–300 nm based on a copolymer of L-glutamic acid or L-asparaginic acid and L-phenylalanine or D-phenylalanine, or L,D-phenylalanine, or L,D-leucine, or L,D-isoleucine, containing 200–500 mcg chemopreparation/mg particles, wherein the molar ratio of the links of L-glutamic acid or L-aspartic acid and L-phenylalanine or D-phenylalanine, or L,D-phenylalanine, or L,D-leucine, or L,D-isoleucine in the copolymer is in range of 2:1–3:1, and also relates to a method of treating oncological cerebral diseases, including: a) laser hyperthermia of a brain tumour; b) local administration of a composition according to claim 1 into the brain.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the development and creation of a pharmaceutical composition for postoperative local treatment of cerebral cancer, in particular a malignant brain tumour, based on nanoparticles, which is characterized by high efficiency in local chemotherapy of a brain tumour, composition according to the invention is capable of being displaced by the liquor current at a sufficient distance from the administration point together with the gradual release of the active substance (chemopreparation) from nanoparticles in the composition, and, as a result, a greater volume of the perifocal zone of the tumour, which thereby increases the effectiveness of treatment of cancer of the brain, is covered by the treatment.
