FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism comprises housing, short rocking rocker, two long rocking rockers and four identical crank rods articulated to make a rhombus. First ends of long rockers are articulated with housing at common point while second ends are articulated with two opposite vertices of rhombus. Short rocker is articulated by one end with the housing and by another end with the third vertex of the rhombus; the fourth vertex of the rhombus is the first working point of the mechanism, performing precise rectilinear motion along the first straight line. Long rockers are continued in a straight line and are made twice as long as per the rule of central symmetry relative to common connection point of the first ends of long rockers. On the two long rockers continuation by the central symmetry rule relative to the long swinging first ends common connection point the same mechanism is built with the mechanism second working point, which is centrally symmetrical to the mechanism first operating point, performing the accurate rectilinear motion along the second straight line, which is parallel to the first straight line. Mechanism working points move in opposite directions.

EFFECT: simultaneous rectilinear motion of two points in opposite directions.
