FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing bis(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl)carbonate by treating 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropanol-1, according to invention is first treated with titanium (IV) tetrachloride in molar ratio 4-6:1, and then with diphenyl carbonate at a molar ratio of 1:1.5-2, followed by distillation of bis(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl)carbonate at low pressure.
EFFECT: novel method of producing bis(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl)carbonate which enables to avoid preliminary synthesis of starting materials, reduces the number of steps and increases output of the obtained product.
