FIELD: the invention refers to metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: the mode of a spectral analysis of the elements of metallic melt in a melting reservoir includes the following stages: submersion of an arrangement in a metal bath; excitation of a laser beam; conducting of the laser beam through a system of lenses and mirrors; direction of the laser beam on the surface of the melt; direction of light created by plasma through quartz glass, the system of lenses and the light guides in spectrometers; using of a computer for an analysis of sensitiveness of spectral lines. In the process of submersing of the arrangement in the melt from above fulfilled in the shape of a probe the liquid sample of the analyzed welt is formed due to ferrostatic pressure. An inert gas is fed under pressure regulating which one can get a required form and a level of melted metal in a fireproof tube and/or in a fireproof bushing and/or in a standard sampler.
EFFECT: simplification of the mode of the analysis and of the arrangement for its execution.
