METHOD FOR REFRACTIVE EXTRACTION OF CORNEAL LENTICULE Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61F9/08

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in refractive extraction of a corneal lenticule accompanying myopia correction by means of a femtosecond laser. That is ensured by femtodissection. 90° curved° upper and lower surfaces of lenticule are marked with a part of the spatula within the incision. Right lower edge of lenticule is gripped with collet tweezers by 120° and upward circular motion is performed. Then edge of lenticule is intercepted at 90° and circular downward movement is continued. At moment of lenticule extraction, collet forceps are used to make circular motion around its axis by 180° wherein the lenticules are brought through incision 1–1.5 mm.

EFFECT: invention provides improved quality of the lenticule surface to be removed without separation through a small incision, reduces the period of postoperative recovery of the patient, minimizes corneal syndrome, as well as promotes the preservation of the biomechanical properties of the cornea.
