SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technology of neurosurgical implants, namely to technologies of functional rehabilitation of patients. Method includes steps of reading geometric parameters of surrounding space, transmitting them to a personal computer, where virtual rooms are created with possibility of editing, data on virtual rooms are transmitted to computing unit of cortical prosthetic system with software, providing the possibility of controlling virtual rooms and visualizing objects using bionic vision, immersing the user into the virtual room, continuously recording the data on the position of the user in space, synchronizing them on the computing unit with the digital copy of the user in the virtual room, user performs exercises of the rehabilitation program by means of control tools in virtual reality.

EFFECT: reduced length of rehabilitation for users of cortical visual prosthetic systems, higher safety of rehabilitation, expanded functionality of systems of adaptation to bionic vision.
