FIELD: image processing means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for functional rehabilitation of patients using cortical visual prosthetic systems. Disclosed is a method, which includes steps, on which the geometric parameters of the surrounding space are read by means of technical means to obtain information about it, are transmitted via a communication channel to a computer, where three-dimensional images of the spaces are created; two-dimensional images are transmitted from the video camera to the computer, reduced to resolution provided by the visual prosthetic system; comparing three-dimensional images of spaces and images from a video camera on a computer, detecting areas of spaces invisible to bionic vision; editing three-dimensional images of spaces and providing recommendations for changing the space surrounding the user.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced length of rehabilitation for users of visual prosthetic systems, higher safety of the rehabilitation process, expanded functionality of systems for adaptation to bionic vision.
