FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to tobacco industry, in particular to systems simulating the tobacco smoking process. Aerosol-generating device comprises a reservoir enclosing a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, and an aerosol generating element configured to generate an aerosol from the aerosol-forming liquid substrate. Aerosol-generating element comprises an electric vibration converter, an electric pump configured to supply a liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the reservoir to the aerosol-generating element. Device comprises a control circuit connected to said pump and converter. Control circuit is configured to control operation of the pump depending on one or more operating parameters of the converter. To implement the method of providing the operation of the aerosol-generating device, the operation of the pump is controlled depending on one or more operating parameters of the converter.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the aerosol-generating device at different rates of aerosol generation and longer service life of the battery.
