SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an aerosol generating system comprising a pump having an outlet and an outlet, note here that said inlet can communicate with liquid storage part. System also includes a fluid medium channel communicated with a pump and a fluid sensor. Fluid sensor is configured to determine presence of liquid aerosol-forming substrate in fluid channel by measuring the electrical parameter of the fluid in the fluid medium passage.
EFFECT: disclosed is an aerosol generating system with a fluid sensor.
