SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maxillofacial surgery. Through an injection needle, which is preliminary introduced into the lumen of the venous component of malformations under control of ultrasonic navigation using a linear sensor with a research frequency of 10–20 MHz with a colour Doppler mapping mode and using a passive aspiration sample under pressure, the mini-foam composition is introduced. Composition is obtained by Tessari method by mixing sclerosing preparations for 10 s, which are mixture of 3% solution of ethoxysclerol and an aqueous solution of bleomycin, taken in equal volumes, prepared by diluting 15 units of bleomycin in 5 ml of normal saline with atmospheric air, the volume of which is 2 times greater than the total volume of a mixture of sclerosing preparations. Total amount of the mini-foam composition is calculated individually depending on the size of arteriovenous malformations by formula. Immediately before the introduction of the sclerosing composition, the afferent arteries of the malformations are ligatured and transected. Access to the artery corresponds to the most superficial location of the latter and the length of the skin incision above the artery does not exceed 8–15 mm, artery is exposed in a blunt dissection, bandaged in an incisional wound, dissected; the wound is closed.

EFFECT: method allows stabilizing local hemodynamics, eliminating pathological arteriovenous remission, improving aesthetic effect, as well as reducing a risk of recurrence.
