SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery; it can be used in the treatment of children with venous malformations of the head and the neck. A method for sclerosing therapy of venous malformations of the head and the neck in children, using a bleomycin-polidocanol foam composition, consists in that the resulting foam is immediately injected through an injection needle, which is preliminary introduced into a lumen of one of cavities of venous malformations, puncture control is performed using ultrasound navigation, using a linear sensor with a research frequency of 10-20 MHz with a color doppler mapping mode, and using a passive aspiration sample, after control of needle being in the lumen of malformations, through the latter, a mini-foam composition is injected under pressure, which displaces blood from venous cavities, causing a hollow vein effect and vasospasm due to the presence of air in the composition, after the completion of the injection of the mini-foam composition, the injection needle is extracted, manual compression is exerted on the post-operative area for 5 min in order to compress damaged walls of malformations to each other.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of sclerosing therapy of venous malformations of the head and neck, which is expressed in the reduction in a number of procedures, reduction in the general time of child’s rehabilitation, reduction in the risk of disease relapse.
