FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. For micropenny sclerotherapy of arteriovenous malformations of the maxillofacial region of the patient, a vascular malignancy of the maxillofacial region of the patient is detected in the position of the patient lying on his back or sitting in an armchair with the help of ultrasonic Dopplerography in the energy mode. Linear sensor is used with frequency of 5–10 MHz in real time. Localization and size of vascular malignancy are evaluated. Skin vascular border marking is applied on the skin. Further, after performing general anesthesia, under the ultrasound control using the linear sensor equipped with the Doppler blood flow analysis option with 5–10 MHz test frequency, the vascularised new growth is punctured by inserting the puncture needle and moving it into the vascular pedicle lumen until the blood drop appears in the puncture needle or in the sterile syringe filled with steroid saline. After that, without changing the position of the needle, a syringe is attached to it with a pre-prepared sclerosing micropenny composition (SMC). When the needle is brought out of the neoplasm of the new growth, the space of the SMC is filled. Herewith, the QMS is prepared before direct introduction into the cavity of the vascular malignancy by mixing the sclerosing preparation with air, carbon dioxide or a mixture of air and carbon dioxide at ratio of 1:3.5 to 1:4.5. Sclerosing agent used is 3 % lauro macrogol 400 or 3 % solution of 2-methyl-7 ethylun-decyl-4 sodium sulphate or 3 % sodium tetradecyl sulphate solution. Herewith, SMK is displaced from vascular neoplasm of blood and inner layer of vein - intima is dissolved. After micropenny scleroobliteration and extraction of puncture needle on maxillofacial area of patient is applied for 3–5 days as a compression bandage sterile plaster "compress" for pressing walls of vein to each other.
EFFECT: method provides high clinical effectiveness with obtaining a stable therapeutic effect in the absence of paraesthesia, lymphorrhea and haematomas due to low traumatism of lymphatic pathways and nerve fibers, high cosmetic effect due to absence of scar formation.
