FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in treating epiretinal fibrosis ERF. That is ensured by En-face OCT to detect areas of ERM loose adhesion to the surface of the internal boundary membrane IBM of the intramuscular membrane in the macular region of the retina. Subtotal vitrectomy is performed. Then, membrane blue 0.15% is applied on the macular region so that it covers the surface of the central region of the retina to the first branching of the vascular arcades. Dye is exposed for 3 minutes and washed out with a vitreous cutter. Based on the pre-obtained En-Face OCT data and the intraoperative pattern detected as a result of staining, areas of loose contact of the ERM with the surface of the IBM are sought. Then using endovitreal forceps in place of detected loose contact of ERM with surface of IBM grip edge of ERM, separating it from surface of IBM. The ERM edge is inverted and the ERM is gripped with tweezers from the ERM side, previously in contact with the IBM. ERM is removed with a single flap. Operation is completed by tamponade of vitreal cavity with gas. In case of cataract, the first stage involves cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of an intraocular lens.

EFFECT: invention provides improved visual functions, visual acuity with exclusion of development of dissociation of layer of nerve fibres in remote postoperative period due to complete preservation of IBM.
