FIELD: chemistry; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry and represents a method for preparing a preparation for wet wound healing based on modified hyaluronic acid and active iodine. Method for producing a preparation based on sodium hyaluronate and N-vinylpyrrolidone enriched with active iodine, comprising dissolving iodine in a potassium iodide solution in sterile water for injections, followed by adding a polysaccharide, according to the invention, 5-7 g of iodine is dissolved in 30 g of 10 wt.% potassium iodide solution prepared in sterile water for injections, then, with constant stirring at rate of 250 rpm, 1-5 g of a graft copolymer of sodium hyaluronate and N-vinylpyrrolidone, obtained from sodium hyaluronate with a molecular weight of 400 kDa, is added, wherein content of graft chains of N-vinylpyrrolidone in copolymer is 8 wt.%, and molecular weight of grafted chains is equal to 10 kDa, then the obtained preparation in the form of gel is brought to 100 g with water for injections, filtered through a nylon membrane with pore diameter of 45 mcm.
EFFECT: using the disclosed method, a preparation based on a graft copolymer of sodium hyaluronate and N-vinylpyrrolidone is obtained, the iodine content of which is 5-7 wt.%, in the form of a gel with viscosity of 25-35 cps, having a higher content of active iodine by more than two times and antibacterial activity up to 4 times.
