FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing transparent glass-ceramic textured optical quality materials having nonlinear properties, specifically to methods for producing glass-ceramic materials with nano-sized crystals LiNbO3 and LiB3O5, which form ordered anisotropic texture in matrix crystallized in alternating electric field glass of Li2O-Nb2O5-B2O3 system. This glass-ceramic material can be used to generate the second harmonic of an infrared laser with wavelength of 1.064 mcm. To obtain nonlinear optical glass-ceramic textured material is heated in heat-insulating crystalliser to temperature of 520 °C glass of the composition, mol. %, 29 Li2O, 63 B2O3, 8 Nb2O5, located in a uniform alternating electric field with frequency of 27 MHz with simultaneous formation of a texture. Field is transmitted normally to a plate of the glass sample through heat-resistant metal electrodes deposited on that plate, and crystallisation is controlled based on the final temperature.
EFFECT: high coefficient of optical nonlinearity of the obtained nonlinear optical glass-ceramic textured material.
