SUBSTANCE: method of determining the level of the surface of a liquid noble gas in a two-phase emission detector includes determining the level of liquid argon/xenon in the two-phase emission detector by measuring the relative change in capacitance directly between the working electrodes of the detector using a charge-sensitive preamplifier by measuring the value of the reference signal transmitted through said electrodes, depending on the level of filling the detector with the liquid.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of level measurement.
