SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of preparing a fire-retarding impregnating compound for wood. Fire-retardant impregnating composition for wood contains nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid, hollow aluminosilicate microspheres, carbon nanotubes and water, with the following ratio of components (wt.%): nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid – 30, hollow aluminosilicate microspheres – 10, carbon nanotubes – 0.5, water – the balance.
EFFECT: high fire-retarding efficiency of the composition for protecting wood from fire.
