FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of converted gas and can be used in metallurgy and other industries. Converted gas obtaining method, including the fuel and oxidizer separate supply, their mixing and combustion with the oxidizer deficiency, at that, the fuel is divided into two autonomous flows with their mass fractions ratio equal to 2.0-3.0, process of producing conversion products is performed in two steps: at first flow of oxygen with oxygen flow rate coefficient α = 0.34-0.36 is mixed with fuel flow I in fuel partial combustion chamber, At second step, produced combustible mix is mixed with mix of fuel II, steam and after-burned to complete conversion process and to produce converted gas with preset temperature parameters of 1400-1450 °C; reducing potential η = (CO + H2)/(CO2 + H2O) = 6-9. Also disclosed is a fuel-oxygen reactor for producing converted gas, which includes a combustion chamber with separate fuel and oxidiser supply paths, their mixing and combustion systems, wherein fuel-oxygen reactor is equipped with located in front of final combustion chamber fuel partial combustion chamber with its supply path and oxygen supply pipe, wherein oxygen supply pipe is surrounded by coaxial annular fuel supply path, and around the partial fuel combustion chamber there is an annular secondary flow supply system – the remaining part of the fuel with steam, wherein outlets of gas-oxygen mix combustion products and secondary gas flow are located ahead of final combustion chamber inlet with pilot burner in plane perpendicular to fuel-oxygen reactor axis.
EFFECT: reliable mixing of all combustible mix components.
