FIELD: biochemical equipment. SUBSTANCE: bioreactor has reservoir 1 with cover 2 and substrate feed, gas bleed and finished product drain branch pipes 3, 4 and 5 respectively, circulation tube 6 with slots 7 in the lower part. Circulation tube 6 has expansion 8 in the upper part, the expansion is made in the form of a truncated cone with radially mounted vertical deflecting plates 9, louvers 10 controlling the flow section of slots 7 are located in the lower part of the tube. Axial pumps 12 and 13 are mounted on drive shaft 11 for reaction mixture circulation. Pump 12 is mounted in expansion 8, and pump 13 - in the lower part of circulation tube 6. The bioreactor also has airlift pump 14 mounted outside reservoir 1 and used for aeration and reaction mixture feed from the lower part of reservoir 1 to the upper one. Disk 15 with slots for reaction mixture uniform distribution through the reservoir cross section is fastened to drive shaft 11 under cover 2. The bioreactor is characterized by reduced foaming of microcrystal steroid, increased filling coefficient up to 0.8-0.9 and steroid load concentration from 5 to 100 g/l.
