FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: pulses from output of measuring converter 1 go to input of pulse counter 2 and pulses from output of generator 3 are sent to input of counter 4 from which output signal is fed to input of counter 5 to which reset input signal "one" from output of 2NOT-AND gate 20 is applied. Signal from output of inverter 16 is applied to first input of 3AND-2AND-2NOT-OR gate 17 which prevents passing of signal from output of counter 4 through gate 17. Result of measurement is kept in register 7 during time of next cycle of measurement. Measurement cycles depend on which of switches 27-31 will be pressed on. With pressed on switch 27 thickness gauge works in linear mode. Pulses are fed through counter 2 to input of gate 17, then to counter 18 and measuring counter 8. Pulses sent through counters 4 and 5 go to input of 2AND-2AND-2NOT-OR gate 12, pass through it and are sent to first input of pulse separator 13 and then to first input of second 2AND-2AND-2NOT-OR gate 14 and to input of counter 9 of measurement time. On ending of measurement cycle measuring counter 8 generates result of measurement. EFFECT: increased precision of measurements under different operational modes. 2 dwg
