FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radioisotope device of nondestructive testing. Increased productivity of radioisotope gauge is secured by automatic start of measurement cycle after installation of remote probe on tested object thanks to insertion into thickness gauge incorporating measuring converter 1, first 2, second 3 pulse counters subtracter 4, register 5, generator 6, third 7 and fourth 8 pulse counters, decoder 9, first 10 and second 11 univibrators of reversible shift register 12, flip-flop 13 and three OR gate 14-16.
