FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of grain-oriented electrical-sheet steel with limited anisotropy that can be used, for instance, in manufacture of magnetic circuits of turbine-driven and hydraulic generators. Proposed process of production of grain-oriented electrical-sheet steel with limited anisotropy of magnetic induction ΔB2500 = 0,17-0,25= 0.17-0.25 T includes melting of metal containing following components, per cent by mass: carbon up to 0.06; silicon 2.5-3.5; manganese 0.1-0.3; copper up to 0.6; aluminum 0.006-0.036; nitrogen up to 0.013; iron and unavoidable impurities being the balance, casting, hot rolling, cold rolling with deformation value 60-80% to final strip gauge of 0.7-1.0 mm, decarbonization, high-temperature and straightening annealing. Technical result of invention lies in production of grain- oriented electrical-sheet steel with limited ( decreased ) anisotropy of magnetic induction in interval ΔB2500 = 0,17-0,25 Tл T and in raised structural strength of magnetic circuits and other articles manufactured of this steel.
