SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of the cross-linked hydrophilic copolymers based on acrylamide, methacrylamide or vinylpyrrolidone and 0.1-2% methylene-bis-acrylamide containing 0.01-0.2 mol.% cholesterol derivatives of the general formula where X - ; Y = 2-11 as biospecific adsorbents of cholesterol and lipoproteids from biological fluids. Invention ensures to sorb up to 42-51% total cholesterol and 21-46% lipoproteids. Invention can be used in medicinal practice and biotechnology. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of adsorbents. 2 tbl
