FIELD: isolation of electromagnetic energy sources from load. SUBSTANCE: microstrip circulator has insulating substance 1 deposited on one side and carrying three-arm strip splitter 3 on other side. Ferrite disk 3 is built in through hole of substrate 1, near center of splitter 3. Mutual diffusion region 4 appears in substrate 1 as result of hot compression of ferrite disk 2. Electromagnetic energy reaching first arm of splitter 3 passes area of substrate 1, region 4, and propagates to ferrite disk 2 saturated with constant magnetic field. Energy is conveyed to second arm of splitter 3 due to gyrotropic effect in ferrite disk 2, while third arm is decoupled. Substrate 1 is made of forsterite and ferrite disk 2, of nickel-zinc ferrite, width of region 4 is not over 100 mcm.
