FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: two noise signals with noise temperature T and environment noise temperature To are applied to input of amplifier 1 from reference generators 6 and 2 through intermediate path 3. Signals are applied in turn; noise temperature T is lower and higher than temperature To. Relation of power levels of output noise signals of amplifier 1 are measured. After that these noise signals of amplifier 1 are measured. After that these noise signals with noise temperatures Ti and To are applied to input of amplifier 1 directly from reference generators 6 and 2 and relation of power levels of noise signals is measured once more. Attenuation α of intermediate path 3 introduced is determined. EFFECT: widened area of application. 1 dwg
