FIELD: electron accelerators. SUBSTANCE: charged-particle accelerator has housing 1; evacuating system 2, electron gun 3 assembled in insulator 4 and having thermal cathode assembly 5 with cathode 6; anode 7 located on water-cooled flange 8, inner cylindrical shields 9, 10 and outer shield 11 mounted on insulator 12 with built-in magnetic discharge pump 13 having two groups of permanent magnets 14 and planar grid-like electrodes 15. The charged-particle accelerator furthermore has cylindrical beam guide 17 composed of inner and outer cylinders 21 and 20, respectively, between the end-faces of which spaced from electron gun 3 there is annular partition 23; getter system built in inner cylinder 21 and composed of symmetrically located hollow shaped blades sealingly coupled with cylindrical beam guide 17. Hollow flanges 27 and 28 are sealingly coupled by tubular housings of heaters to form a coolant circulation system.
