FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis is carried out from 5-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfoacid Na2CO3 and 50% aqueous solution of carbobenzoxychloride in aqueous-toluene medium at cooling. Yield is 85% , m. p. is 260 C (with decomposition), gross-formula is C18H4NO5SNa. Improvement of sensitivity of assay of detectable group in enzyme substrate is 400% as compared with use of 1-aminonaphthalene-5-sulfoacid as a substrate. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of assay.
