FIELD: ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed material contains 45-55 mol % of Ta2O5 and lanthanide compound. Orthovanadate having common formula MVO4 where M is chosen of La, Nd, Gd, Dy, Yb is used as said lanthanide compound. Material is prepared by single roasting within 8-10 h at 1150-1200 C.
