FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: in porous dielectric tube 2 gauze electrodes 3 and 5 are placed coaxially in cylindrical metal vacuum chamber 1. Capacitive energy accumulator 6 is located between electrodes 3 and 5. Electrode 3 is connected to pulse voltage generator 4. Vacuum chamber 1 and tube 2 form space communicating with system 7 of gas bleeding-in. Such design of device makes it possible to feed portion of gas from system 7 of gas bleeding-in into gap between gauze electrodes 3 and 5 before injection of electron beam. When voltage pulse comes to gauze electrode 3 with some delay incomplete discharge is formed over dielectric surface which presents close- to-wall plasma. When plasma shorts electrodes 3 and 5 discharge of capacitive energy accumulator charged beforehand takes place which leads to increase of concentration of charge components of plasma. Growth of local gas pressure in gap between electrodes 3 and 5 during period of gas bleeding-in rises density of charge components of plasma that is value of current of beam of electrons transported through channel.
