FIELD: mechanical engineering; apparatuses for manufacture of extra pure optical quartz glass. SUBSTANCE: apparatus incorporates working chamber 2 hingedly mounted on frame 1 for revolution about suspension axis, heater system 3, quartz glass container 4 with journals 5 and 6 at its ends, devices providing rotational and oscillatory motion of container, end face heaters 7 and 8, disposed at journal footing inside working chamber, devices to supply and take off reagents and at the same time feed either neutral or inert gas into annular gap between journals and working inserts. Reagent supply device has capillary at its end and reagent take-off device is provided with labyrinth member 13 and filter 14. In addition, disclosed apparatus is provided with transportation container having ball plug valve made of quartz glass and plug filter and employed for loading and unloading operations, charge-discharge plug to be located in container's journal in place of reagent takeoff plug, and attachment fitting jointed via mate-unmate members.
