FIELD: mechanical engineering; explosion welding for manufacture of articles with inner spaces such as heat exchangers, electrothermal and chemical equipment, heat regulators, etc. SUBSTANCE: envelope is made in form of tube accommodating tube bundle symmetrically inside envelope. Connecting rods made of low melting material, diameter 0.13-0.15 of outer diameter of tubes are placed between tubes. Connecting rods diameter 0.25 - 0.35 of outer diameter of tubes are placed in outer recesses in tube bundle. Process is carried out at collision speed of 200-450 m/s. After explosion loading article is subjected to thermal treatment for 3-5 min at temperature 5-320 C higher than liquidus temperature of connecting rod metal. Weld area is increased. EFFECT: increased heat power of heat exchangers by increasing space-to-space heat transfer coefficient. 3 dwg
