FIELD: welding works.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for making objects with inner cavities, for example, heat exchangers, components of electro-thermal and chemical equipment, heat regulators etc. Cavity-forming elements are coaxially put inside metallic pipe-shaped strengthening layers with inner 2.4-4 mm diametre greater than the outer diametre of cavity-forming elements. From the obtained assembly, a packet is made to undergo explosive welding and put, with welding gaps, between coating plates with thickness equal to 1.5-1.7 times the thickness of the walls of the pipe-shaped reinforcement layers. Explosive welding is done at velocity of detonation of explosive equal to 2190-2930 m/s and regulated speed of impact of welded objects, obtaining an all-welded object with inner cavities.
EFFECT: method allows for obtaining in one welding cycle, a quality all-welded object from different materials with high-strength joints between its elements and air-tightness of adjacent cavities; the inner cavity of the object has the desired oval shape.
