FIELD: processes for making materials with use of energy of explosion matters.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing explosion welding pack having cladding blank in the form of copper disc, protection gasket of high elastic material and steel shield; placing pack with gap consisting 0.5 - 1.5 of thickness of welded cladding blank over clad steel blank in the form of copper disc; arranging prepared assembly on steel support and inclining it relative to lengthwise axis of duct of barrel of powder throwing apparatus; realizing explosion welding by shock loading due to acceleration of cylindrical striker of high-ductile metal by means of powder throwing apparatus and its striking with steel shield at speed 475 - 670 m/s at predetermined relation of its specific mass and sum of specific mass values of steel shield, protection gasket of high elastic material and welded cladding blank. It is possible to use lead as high-ductile material for making striker and for making protection gasket it is possible to use rubber as high-elastic material.

EFFECT: less loss of yield, possibility for providing high operational parameters of joined zone of composite material.
