FIELD: plasma technology. SUBSTANCE: tungsten carbide ions with energy 40-100 keV are implanted in dose 5•1016-1017 cm-2 into wear-resistant titanium nitride coating applied on cutting tool surface resulting in increasing wear resistance of tool by a factor of 2.4-2.6.
