FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: device has workpiece holding and rotating mechanism and welding gun connected to power source. It has also control unit and feedback channel. Signal from output of scanning Roentgen rays-to-electric signal converter passes through series connected videosignal storage block, digital write block, digital filtering block, fault flag selector block, fault coordinate location block and gets to input of control unit. Roentgen rays radiator and converter are arranged at both sides of collet chuck clamping parts. Axes of gun electrode, working parts of radiator and converter are arranged on welding position for displacement relative to each other. Combination of welding and fault finding in welds by means of Roentgen rays on one position ensures against porosity in weld. EFFECT: enhanced quality of weld owing to adjustments made basing on results of checks on welding position. 10 dwg
