FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the torque is transmitted from the spindle 1 to coupling part 4 of the joint by means of solids of revolution. Sealing unit is used to seal the chamber of the joint. Sealing unit is made in form of barrel 8 fastened on the face of the yoke 2. Cylindrical shoulder 9 with circular recess is made on the spindle. Springs 10 and flexible segments 11 with Z-shaped joints are arranged in recess. Segments 11 are embraced by elastic circular sealing cord contacting with internal wall of the barrel 8. This allows leakage of lubricant from the joint to be eliminated and conditions of its operation to be improved. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of the joint. 4 dwg
