SUBSTANCE: sealing unit of rolling mill spindle comprises gear holder, toothed hub, sealing cartridge and sealed corrugated jacket that covers it together with toothed hub. End flanges are fixed on jacket, with their help jacket is fastened on the side of roller on the ends of holder and toothed hub.
EFFECT: higher durability of spindle and equipment of roller drive transmission, reduction of off-schedule idle time of rolling mill, higher accuracy of rolling and quality of produced rolled products.
