FIELD: experimental aerodynamics. SUBSTANCE: gear is provided with damper 4 mounted in opening 5 and with row of permanent magnets 10 in the form of flat washers placed between adjacent surfaces of damper 4 and wall of working part of wind tunnel 6. Driving mechanism is located on outside of working part of wind tunnel 6. Support 2 with holder 1 is made fast to mobile platform 7 of driving mechanism in opening of wall of working part. Driving mechanism enables investigated model to be moved specifically according to six degrees of freedom: angular with reference to conditional center of gravity of model at point 0 and linear along axes X, Y and Z. Dimensions of damper 4 provide for shut-off of opening 5 of wall of working part of wind tunnel 6 for al movements of model. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of aerodynamic characteristics of models of flying vehicles. 1 dwg
