FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental aerodynamics, namely to automatic control systems for the position of the model in wind tunnels. Model is placed in such a way that its axis of rotation is at an equal distance from the attachment points of the holder, the position of the attachment points of the holder is changed automatically by three control parameters: angle of attack, vertical and horizontal movements in accordance with the specified program, which generates at each control clock the control signal of the power mechanisms-linear drives. Lengths of the linear actuator rods at the current control cycle are calculated and the incremental speed of linear actuators is determined by the increment of the control parameters. Linear drives are controlled in speed, and the control of the control is carried out along the length of the drives.
EFFECT: control position of the model in the wind tunnel, which allows you to change the angle of attack of the model by a given amount at a given speed and return the model to the horizontal position when the drive fails.
