FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of experimental aerodynamics and is intended for determining the aerodynamic characteristics of the model of aircraft, missiles, etc. in transonic wind tunnels. Device contains a holder, a crescent-shaped rack, a drive and a bed frame, the drive is made in the form of three linear cylinders, one end of which is hinged at three points on the bed frame, and the other at two points of the rack. In this case, the cylinders are oriented so as to ensure maximum rigidity of the mechanism and the least effort in the drive under the operating loads and movements of the model. In addition, two linear cylinders are located in the direction of air flow, and the third – perpendicular to the direction of air flow. Device further includes stops for moving the rack in a direction, which is perpendicular to its plane.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expanded experimental capabilities of the aerodynamic plant, in reduced labor intensity.
