FIELD: mechanical engineering; evaporators. SUBSTANCE: evaporating apparatus incorporates vertically set up housing, upper and lower tubular grids, cluster of flexible tubes made of polymer material and whose upper ends are secured in position in upper tubular grid, and tube expansion compensator having movable and stationary members. Stationary member of tube expansion compensator is shaped as reservoir filled with liquid up to condensate discharge connection and secured to reservoir bottom. Upper face of this reservoir is located above apparatus bottom. Movable member of tube expansion compensator is made in the form of pipe lower end of which is disposed inside reservoir below liquid level and upper end is connected to lower tubular grid to which are attached lower ends of flexible tubes and is provided with counterweight. Movable member has overhang made of flexible material and encompassing upper face of reservoir and encloses gas discharge pipe provided with steam-gas mixture suction control device. EFFECT: more sophisticated design; higher reliability of apparatus owing to maintaining of constant pipe (sleeve) stretching force irrespective of pressure differential in pipes and prevention of their rupture that may result when heating steam pressure exceeds permissible level. 2 cl, 1 dwg
