FIELD: food production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in food and fish processing industry in turning out products which possess flavor and aroma of crabs and it particularly relates to method of storage of this kind of crab additive. According to method, washed, dried and disintegrated to pieces with dimension of not over 5 mm is crab armour and this is introduced into ready crab additive in amount of 5-10% of its mass with subsequent packaging in receptacles. Before using aforesaid crab flavored additive, crab armour must be removed by filtration. Application of aforesaid method prolongs storage periods of product with retention of stable flavor and aroma of crab. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
